Backing the biggest weekend in Aboriginal rugby league
The event
The NSW Koori Knockout is one of Australia’s largest and most significant Indigenous sporting events. Every year it brings Aboriginal rugby league teams together from across New South Wales. Families, communities and Countries meet on one field for a weekend that means far more than football.

The trust
In 2025, Blakk was selected as the Official Merchandise Supplier for the tournament. For a proudly Indigenous-owned business, it’s a role we take seriously. Being chosen to outfit an event this important reflects the trust Indigenous communities place in us, trust we earn by getting the culture, the story and the quality right.

The range
We built an off-field and lifestyle range made to be worn long after the final whistle. It runs from headwear and jerseys to hoodies, tees and everyday essentials. Each piece carries design work that honours the tournament’s history and the communities taking part.

Our part
Our job was to keep the culture at the centre while meeting the real demands of the weekend. The gear had to look sharp on the sideline, hold up to a big crowd, and feel like it belonged to the people wearing it. We handled the design, production and delivery so the tournament had merchandise worthy of the occasion.

The result
More than merchandise. When communities wear Blakk at the Koori Knockout, they carry their culture and their pride with them, on the field, in the stands and all the way home.
And we will be back in 2026!
